Job Description:

Life Care Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team and deliver quality nursing care to patients in our long term care facility specializing in geriatrics. As an RN, you will be responsible for evaluating patient needs through ongoing assessment, developing and revising care plans based on changes in the patient's condition, and providing clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs. Your role is critical to ensure patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:

1. Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing).
2. Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
3. One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
4. CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Specific Job Requirements:

• Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.

Associate Referral Program:

Receive an additional $1/hr per referral as long as you are both employed full-time!
