ClassUp is dedicated to connecting K12 students with tutors from the top US Universities and Colleges. As an Elementary ELA Tutor, you will be responsible for providing quality online tutoring sessions to students in grades K-12.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree obtained or in progress.
2. Experience in teaching or tutoring K-12 students.
3. Proficient in K-12 reading and writing standards.
4. Reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC.
5. Willingness to commit to a minimum of 8-12 months.
6. Access to a private and quiet workspace.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality online tutoring sessions to students in grades K-12 in the subject of ELA.

5. Take the time and effort to make sure students understand complex subjects and materials at a comfortable speed.
6. Understand when a student is feeling discouraged and build up their confidence from there.
7. Show enthusiasm for education and create a fun environment for the students.
